Time after time
I’ve done my sentence
But committed no crime
And bad mistakes
I’ve made a few
I’ve had my share of sand kicked in my face
But I’ve come through
And we’ll keep on fighting ’til the end.
Yes I am still unemployed but I am probably the healthiest I have been in years.
What I have learned through this is…
My kids are important and I have been able to buy “back to school” clothes and supplies for the first time in years before school starts.
My husband and I can enjoy binge watching Veronica Mars, Imposters, and movies such as Crazy Rich Asians.
I have cut off the noise of fetlife and kik as I don’t need that instant gratification.
My house is back to normal and for the first time in 9 months I don’t rely on Xanax to make it through the day. Oh and my laundry room looks amazing.
I am getting through The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck and realized I gave way too many fucks to people who didn’t deserve them.
I do need a job and soon as I am not cut out for unemployment but for once I am rested and Me and that’s all a girl could ask for.
